Not only do New Hampshire campers have to deal with all this rain, but they now have to shell out more money.
On July 1, a new 9 percent Campground Tax was unveiled across the Granite State. Both private and state operated campgrounds must collect the tax.
But campgrounds on U.S. Government land are exempt. That means no tax at the six campgrounds along the Kancamagus Highway.
Other tax-free White Mountain National Forest campgrounds include:
1.Dolly Copp in Pinkham Notch
2.Sugarloaf near Twin Mountain
3.Russell Pond in Campton
